ONE Australian developer is taking full advantage of buoyant market conditions in the north shore by releasing four penthouses in Lane Cove.
The first four penthouses in developer Hyecorp Property Group’s Eva project, at 2 Waterview Drive, already sold out earlier this year, with one sale setting a record apartment price in the suburb of $3.15 million.
The top-floor homes will come in three-bedroom plus study and four-bedroom configurations, with the internal area size ranging from 127sqm to 163sqm. Prices range from $1.95 million to $2.7 million.
Eva was first launched in November 2016.
The development is comprised of 100 units, and more than half have sold so far.
Hyecorp Property Group’s director of sales and acquisitions, George Benlian, said buyers could expect “generous floorplans”.
“Our penthouses definitely challenge the preconception of apartment-living by creating even larger apartments to suit many different residents’ needs,” he said.
Long-time locals Dale Colbran and his wife Lauren bought one of the first four penthouses released in the development. Having purchased a three-bedroom penthouse, the couple said they were attracted by the larger-than-average sizes of the homes. “We’ve lived in Lane Cove for many years and really wanted to stay in the area as it’s close to the city and easy for me to travel to work,” Mr Colbran said.
Eva is scheduled to be complete by 2018.
